this is my first blog. Since it is about reading I should have a lot to say, except I have to quit reading long enough to work on my blog. This is hard to do. I'm reading Run right now by Ann Pattchet.
I absolutely love this quilt! The colors and one can clearly see the cotton bolls in this pattern. Excellent picture!
Thanks for coming to class and trying this new venture. You will do great! ;D
Here's a mini assignment. See if you can move the "about me" to the top of your sidebar. Hint = Login and click layout on your dashboard. You may then click on the about me box and drag it to the top and drop.
I look forward to checking your blog - I started with last week's class and now I am addicted! I look forward to knowing about good books and sharing. Try my blog: sisgreads.bloggerspot.com
Joellen, you pro, you! Your blog is really shaping up. I would have written this to you sooner but I just figured out how to leave a comment. HA! So much for "self taught", huh?
maggie, i did the meme, i can't get the last 2 either and it is driving me crazy. hi, signy, i swill take a look. carolyn--quilting takes too much time away from my reading.
I've been reading for almost half a century. that will give away my age, i guess. I have always been in love with libraries. It's like Christmas every day. My first love is the theatre, but i hate reading plays. I need color and descriptions. I like to see plays, read novels. I also love old movies. If it has been on Turner Classic Movies, I've seen it at least six times. I live in a one hundred-year-old house that I love, but that constantly needs some kind of repair, but it has a wrap-around porch with rockers and a swing and ferns. One of my cats claims a rocking chair, the other the swing and i sit on the other rocker and we watch the world go by. The middle school is down the street. We can hear the bells ring when classes let out, and we can watch the kids walking to and from school. The partly-volunteer fire department and the police department are two blocks down the street, so we do get some noisy traffic sometimes. I always wish I knew where they were going. I need to get a police scanner.

I love quilting, too...though I have not had time to do any quilting in awhile. :(
